Back to the clinic!

We were back at the clinic today. Payton needed another platelet transfusion. I wondered if his platelets were low, since he was bruising easily. Otherwise, it looks as if Payton’s counts are going to start trending up, since he has some monocytes. Payton was really cross and tired today. His mouth is still bothering him and because of that, he isn’t eating very well. This afternoon it dawned on me that he hasn’t had a wet diaper all day. We are trying to push fluids tonight so that he won’t get dehydrated.

Payton was due to go back to the clinic on Wednesday to have outpatient chemo, and they decided to change his appointment to Friday instead to check him before the weekend. So it looks as if Friday will be our last chemo day. It was a long day at the clinic, but we are one day closer.
