Payton’s Make a Wish Trip

We began our Make a Wish Trip to Florida by being picked up in a Limo. We heard a knock on our door and our limo driver had a paper that had Payton’s name on it. Payton and Savannah were so excited they ran out to get into the car. They both helped themselves to a drink and were super excited to start their trip. We arrived at the airport and were greeted by Ms. Kim with the A Wish with Wings Foundation. She had bags with prizes for both the kids. They consisted of pillows, blankets, snacks, stuffed animals and games for our trip. We got some lunch at McDonalds since our flight had been delayed a bit and then Ms. Kim took the kids to pick out a gift out of the gift shop. Savannah picked out a puppy Webkinz (imagine that) and Payton a Super Hero Magnetic set. It was finally time for us to board our plane and Ms. Kim had made prior arrangements for us to board first and allow the kids to sit in the cock-pit with the pilot to get pictures. After a short flight we finally arrived to Orlando and were greeted by a nice man from Give Kids the World Village. He helped us with our luggage and guided us to get our car rental. The Give Kids the World Village was the place that we stayed and was only minutes away from the airport.
